With the help of 3D point clouds taking into account radiometric information, growth data will be recorded in orchards (apple and sweet cherry). The data are differentiated in terms of wood, foliage and generative growth and used to analyze the seasonal allometry of the woody plants. Methodological work on multispectral LiDAR measurements in orchards has not been available internationally. In addition to method development, the data will be used to model the yield capacity of fruit-growing crops.
