Projects funded under EU Horizon 2020

Horizon 2020 is the European Union's framework programme for research and innovation. Beginning of 2021, the follow-up programme Horizon Europe (HEU) will start. The EU funding programmes aim to build a knowledge and innovation-based society and a competitive economy across the EU while contributing to sustainable development.
In collaborative projects, consortia with partners from different countries - EU and associated countries - develop advanced knowledge, new technologies, processes, products and services. The research and innovation activities will focus on research. Innovation activities shift the focus from research to development and implementation.
