Fieldlab for Digital Agriculture

With the Fieldlab for Digital Agriculture, ATB operates a fully equipped experimental station, which on more than 20 hectares offers comprehensive possibilities for answering topical scientific questions and for testing and demonstrating digital applications in plant cultivation.
The experimental plots are comprehensively mapped at high resolution. The research station is equipped with sensor technology for particular experimental questions, enabling the development of models, technologies and cultivation systems for an environmentally friendly and resource-saving crop production. The site: weather, soil, crops

ATB and its project partners as well as research institutions from the region are currently using the site for conducting field tests. An advisory board coordinates the land use.

The office and seminar rooms belonging to the site offer the possibility to conduct workshops and seminars for up to 30 (in exceptional cases up to 50) persons. The meeting rooms are equipped with digital presentation technology. Wireless streaming from the field to the event rooms or for online communication is possible.

Research site Marquardt

The site is located about 6.5 km northwest of the institute. It extends along the Wublitz, a side arm of the river Havel, from the outskirts of Marquardt to Federal Highway B 273.
