Anwendungen optischer Sensoren sind besonders attraktiv, weil zerstörungsfrei im Produktions- und Nachernteprozess gemessen werden kann. Es gibt bislang jedoch wenige Umsetzungen der Technik in der Praxis.

Beim Workshop sollen praxistaugliche Lösungen und die Implementierung von digitalen, optischen Technologien in nachhaltige landwirtschaftliche Prozesse von der Blüte bis zum verarbeiteten Produkt diskutiert werden.

Beteiligt sind das ATB sowie das Kompetenznetzwerk OpTec-BB e.V.,eine Initiative von Firmen und wissenschaftlichen Einrichtungen in Berlin und Brandenburg zur Erschließung und Nutzung neuer optischer Technologien.
