Summary
The aim of the project is to develop and technically implement a process engineering concept - called the NEVO process - for the utilization of nitrogenous fertilizers. Ideally, a mono-fermentation of these feedstocks, especially poultry manure, will be realized. The project aimts to implement the process stages in a modular design using process containers, so that application is largely flexible. Development of the individual process stages of the NEVO process (pretreater, hydrolysis stage, SAM module, acidogenesis stage and high-performance methane stage) will be carried out by project partners.
