27 March 2014: In the presence of Sang-Jick Yoon, South Korean Minister for Trade, Industry and Energy, Dr. Martin Geyer, Deputy Scientific Director of the ATB, signed a Memorandum of Understanding with the Friedrich-Alexander-University Erlangen-Nuremberg (FAU) to support the FAU Campus Busan in South Korea.

The ATB will thus support the master studies "Chemical and Bioengineering" and will provide certain selected students and graduates of FAU's Busan Campus with the opportunity to conduct research activities for their master thesis, internships and trainings at the locations of ATB.
