ATB-Colloquium: Experiences and challenges for an Australien farmer

Joseph Muscat is Nuffield Australia 2013 scholarship winner. (

In Queensland, he grows on 325 hectares sugar cane, soybeans, mungbeans, peanuts and in particular fibre crops such as industrial hemp, kenaf and sunn hemp. 

His scholarship offers him possibilities to research best practice in production, manufacturing and marketing of fibre crops. 

This is the reason for his visit to ATB's pilot plant for processing plant fibres
