The Brandenburg Landpartie invites you once again in 2026 to experience the diversity of rural Brandenburg at first hand. On 13 and 14 June, numerous farms, agricultural businesses and research institutions will open their doors, offering fascinating insights into agriculture, regional produce and modern rural life. Visitors can look forward to a varied programme for the whole family, featuring regional delicacies, hands-on activities and special experiences.
The Leibniz Institute for Agricultural Engineering and Bioeconomy (ATB), together with the Lehr- und Versuchsanstalt für Tierzucht und Tierhaltung e.V. (LVAT), is taking part in the Brandenburg Country Fair. Visitors will gain insights into modern livestock housing, sustainable bioeconomy, animal husbandry and innovative research projects, and experience how science and practice work together. The programme is complemented by regional products, hands-on activities and a family-friendly supporting programme.
A particular highlight is the main opening event at the Domin farm in Peickwitz. From 10.30 am onwards, the farm will become a hub for agriculture, local produce and community spirit. The Landpartie will be officially opened on Saturday at 11 am by Brandenburg’s Minister for Agriculture, Hanka Mittelstädt. The programme includes live music, a regional market, culinary specialities from Lusatia, and fascinating insights into modern agriculture and agroforestry. Tractor rides, animal tours and a packed children’s programme featuring a bouncy castle, archery, a craft station and cow roulette will provide entertainment for young and old alike.
