Stoffliche und energetische Nutzung von Biomasse

23. - 24. Sept. 2026: MarginUp! German Use Case Meeting

Trockengelegte Moore heizen das Klima an – wiedervernässte Moorflächen können stattdessen Biodiversität fördern und wichtige Rohstoffe liefern: für torffreie Blumenerde, nachhaltige Verpackungen oder Dämmstoffe. Wie das in der Praxis funktioniert, zeigen Forschende des Leibniz-Instituts für Agrartechnik und Bioökonomie (ATB) sowie des Leibniz-Zentrums für Agrarlandschaftsforschung (ZALF) am 23. September 2026 in Potsdam. Im Rahmen des EU-Projekts MarginUp! treffen sich internationale Forschende mit Vertreter*innen aus Landwirtschaft, Industrie und Politik, um Ergebnisse aus mehreren Jahren Paludikultur-Forschung vorzustellen – und den Weg von der Moorpflanze zum marktfähigen Produkt sichtbar zu machen.

Vorgestellt werde unter anderem:

  • MarginUp! – Wertschöpfung aus marginalen Landflächen, europaweit
  • PaludiKult – von Feuchtgebietsfasern zu torffreiem Gartenbau
  • BLuMo – moorerhaltende Bewirtschaftung in Brandenburgs Luchgebieten
  • WetNetBB – eine Biomasse, mehrere Märkte: kaskadierende Wertschöpfungsketten
  • EDELNASS – von nasser Biomasse zu Chemikalien und Verpackungen
  • Technologien zur Herstellung von Torfersatz-Substraten

Ab 9:40 Uhr gibt es detaillierte Informationen zu Fördermöglichkeiten für Wiedervernässungs- und Strukturprojekte aus dem Klima- und Transformationsfonds – ein Programm mit einem Gesamtvolumen von 1,75 Milliarden Euro.

Am zweiten Tag werden die Meeting-Teilnehmenden zwei Praxisbetriebe besuchen
