Summary
Ziel des ZIM-Kooperationsnetzwerks "BioPlastik" ist die Entwicklung innovativer, biobasierter und abbaubarer Produkte aus Biopolymeren. Dabei müssen die Gebrauchseigenschaften der Biopolymere denen der derzeit verwendeten erdölbasierten Kunststoffe mindestens entsprechen oder diese gar übertreffen. Ein wesentlicher Grundsatz des Netzwerkes ist die Verwendung von Rest- und Abfallstoffen für die Herstellung der Biopolymere. Im Netzwerk arbeiten Partner aus Akademie und Industrie an gemeinsamen F&E-Projekten, das Netzwerkmanagement übernimmt die IBB Netzwerk GmbH.
