ATB-Colloquium (in English):

I) Integrated postharvest technologies for improved food and nutrition security in Sub-Saharan Africa

The presentation will focus on performance evaluation of adsorption-based zero-energy cooling system, low oxygen limit and optimization of modified atmosphere for ‘shelly’ mango with respective to major quality parameters, presenting the research outcome of the on-going PhD Programme. 

II) Development of modular cost-efficient intelligent system for controlled environment storage of fresh produce

Speaker: Keshri Nandita

The presentation will focus on development of a system for real time measurement of respiration rates of fresh produce and will also include some results from the same ongoing work. Topics such as respiration process of fresh produce, controlled atmosphere storage, importance of real time measurement of respiration rate, importance of sensor technology with reference to storage of fresh produce and current scenario will be covered.
