The biyearly conference: ,,Tagung: „Bau, Technik und Umwelt in der landwirtschaftlichen Nutztierhaltung (BTU)" is a regularly held specialized meeting of the agricultural research in the area of animal husbandry. Unanimously the “Kuratorium für Technik und Bauwesen in der Landwirtschaft e.V. (KTBL)", the ”Max-Eyth-Gesellschaft Agrartechnik im Verein Deutscher Ingenieure (VDI-MEG)" and the “Verein Deutscher Ingenieure (VDI-MEG)” have spoken out invitations to this specialised meeting. The hosts of the meeting change biyearly and in the upcoming September 2026, ATB will host the 17th BTU Conference within its halls.

During this specialised meeting, which will take place over several days, the newest scientific results and discoveries in the fields of science, economy, advice and administration will be presented as well as discussed. Aside from the opportunity to be informed about the newest developments, the BTU also offers the opportunity to engage with other attendants and to network.
