The SciConnect Mazovia – Brandenburg creates a valuable platform for Brandenburg, the German state surrounding Berlin and Mazovia, the Polish region around the capital, to share insights and address their similar regional and scientific challenges together. This conference brings together experts from science, science management, startup support and related fields from all across of Europe. By fostering dialogue on funding, regional conditions, and institutional cooperation, it enhances mutual understanding of the scientific ecosystem and identifies opportunities to strengthen collaboration in research and innovation. Thus, ultimately driving impactful joint initiatives.

The SciConnect Mazovia – Brandenburg is organized by Ministry of Science, Research and Culture Brandenburg (MWFK), Ministry of Finance and for European Affairs Brandenburg (MDFE), the Marshal’s Office of the Mazovia Voivodeship and Potsdam Science Park, Standortmanagement Golm GmbH and funded by the Federal State of Brandenburg and Mazovia Region.
The welcome notes will be held by Dr. Manja Schüle the minister of Science, Research and Culture Brandenburg. Janina Orzełowska, member of the Management Board of the Mazovian Voivodeship and Robert Crumbach minister of Finance and for European Affairs Brandenburg. The opening act will be followed by four Keynotes and three exciting parallel running workshops.

The "Aviation & Propulsion" workshop brings together renowned experts from the research communities of Brandenburg and Mazovia in order to offer valuable insights and foster future-oriented research partnerships. Central themes include the latest innovations in sustainable propulsion systems and opportunities for cross-regional collaboration.
The "Biotechnology & Health" workshop is directed at researchers specializing in innovations in medical biotechnology and aims to foster discussion on the establishment and development of collaborative research domains in biotechnology based on current research.
The “Startup & Transfer” workshop brings together leading stakeholders in startup support—such as incubators and accelerators— on both days to foster exchange, strengthen collaboration, and present fresh approaches to empowering knowledge-based startups.
