Summary
The Soil-X-Change Initiative aims to facilitate knowledge exchange and collaboration on sustainable soil and farm management. It will connect farmers, policymakers, projects, and initiatives to accelerate innovation and promote the implementation of sustainable solutions. Soil-X-Change will enhance thematic cooperation between researchers, farmers, and stakeholders within the European Unions Agricultural Knowledge and Innovation Systems (AKIS). It will collect and analyse data from various projects and disseminate innovative practices across nine member countries. By creating an EU-wide network, Soil-X-Change will foster collaboration and knowledge sharing among practitioners and stakeholders involved in sustainable soil and farm management. The project aims to provide farmers with ready-to-use practices and support their decision-making processes for agricultural production. Ultimately, Soil-X-Change aims to broaden the scope of activities and increase the visibility of its partners by engaging a larger number of stakeholders and farmers across the EU. The project will utilize a bottom-up approach, prioritizing the input of farmers and reinforcing practical knowledge dissemination suitable for practitioners.
