On Oct. 27, 2021, professionals learned about the possibilities of precise lime fertilization during a workshop at the ATB. The project consortium "pH-BB: Precise liming in Brandenburg" together with the Brandenburg Agricultural Academy (BLAk) had invited to this event. 

Farmers from the region, agricultural consultants and service providers as well as representatives of the lime industry came to learn about the latest findings in site-specific pH management. The participants received information on methods of sensor-based soil mapping, new algorithms for calculating lime requirements and newly developed decision support systems.

In addition, there was a practical demonstration of mobile multi-sensor systems for high-resolution mapping of lime-relevant soil properties.
