ATB is going to be the host of the international, scientific workshop “PHYSMOD” in August 2026.
The goal of PHYSMOD is – among other things – to promote and strengthen the professional exchange between longtime-acting scientists and their more recent colleagues in order to ensure the continued professional handling and application of relevant systems/technical equipment.
The PHYSMOD-Community is an internationally orientated community of experts and researchers which work with specialised fluid modeling and wind-tunnels to – for example – examine the impact and results of different wind velocities and the air dispersion of different substances in the earths atmosphere.
An especially noteworthy highlight at ATB is the in-house boundary layer wind tunnel, which boasts with a length of around 18 m, a height of around 2,3 and a width of around 3,0 m is considered to be on the largest agricultural scientific wind tunnels.
