How can research findings be communicated clearly, discussed in technical terms and utilised for one’s own academic development? The PhD Day at the ATB provides a forum for academic exchange, new ideas and personal networking.
The PhD Day, which takes place regularly, is aimed in particular at doctoral researchers and supports them on their path into academia and industry. The focus is on discussing current PhD projects and the opportunity to receive suggestions and feedback from fellow researchers. Contact with alumni also provides insights into different career prospects following the completion of the doctoral thesis.
Doctoral researchers from various research fields present their work, thereby offering insights into current research at the ATB.
Personal exchanges with other doctoral researchers, experienced researchers and guests provide an opportunity to discuss research ideas, forge new contacts and expand one’s own academic network. The event will be held in English and in a hybrid format.
The programme features presentations on various topics from the ATB programme areas ‘Healthy Foods’, ‘Individualised Livestock Production’, ‘Diversified Crop Production’ and ‘Multifunctional Biomaterials’. The academic programme is complemented by a group game, a discussion on the path to a professorship and a get-together.
To take part – whether in person or online – please register in advance by email.
