The two-day workshop offers a platform for exchange on new approaches in precision crop protection. Representatives from science, industry and practice are cordially invited to present and discuss current research results..

A prerequisite for precise crop protection and, thus, for a reduction in plant protection agents, is rapid information on the health status of field crops, covering as much of the area as possible. How can sensors be used to identify the location and intensity of the occurrence of pests and weeds in the field? How can data collection be automated? How can the number and location of pest nests be included in the application of crop protection agents in the future, in addition to the growth heterogeneity of the crop itself?
