How can sensor technology, artificial intelligence and autonomous machines be used to promote sustainable agriculture? This international workshop tour combines the latest developments in agricultural technology with practical insights into research, industry and agricultural applications.
Organised by Adaptive AgroTech Consultancy and Agrotech Valley Forum e. V., the tour takes participants through Germany and Denmark. It brings together researchers, students, industry experts and agricultural practitioners to learn about digital technologies and their application in real-world production environments.
The programme includes visits to research institutions, farms and technology companies. This features demonstrations of autonomous agricultural machinery and Field Robotics, insights into AI-supported applications, and a visit to the DLG Organic Field Days. On 18 June, the ATB in Potsdam is on the agenda: the focus there will be on agricultural technology, WG Automation and Field Robotics. The tour concludes with a visit to the University of Southern Denmark in Odense, featuring laboratory tours and robotics demonstrations, as well as a round-table discussion on scientific collaboration.
The tour offers an opportunity to experience technical developments at first hand, exchange experiences and establish international contacts between academia, industry and the agricultural sector. Participation is limited to 30 people; selection will be made by the organisers.
