The CIGR-EurAgEng World Congress 2026 will take place from 24 to 26 June 2026 at the Politecnico di Torino in Turin, Italy. The congress is jointly organised by the International Commission of Agricultural and Biosystems Engineering (CIGR) and the European Society of Agricultural Engineers (EurAgEng) and is dedicated to current issues in the field of agricultural and biosystems engineering.
Under the theme ‘Emerging Technologies and Innovation in Biosystems’, the congress will address topics such as:
- Digitalisation
- Smart farming
- Autonomous and electric machines
- Robotics
- Sensors
- Data analysis
- Sustainable water and soil management
- Bioenergy
- Renewable resources
- Circular economy
- Climate-adapted agricultural and production systems
- Plant and animal production
- Post-harvest technologies
Logistics of rural infrastructure as well as approaches to education and knowledge transfer
In addition, cross-cutting issues will also be addressed.
The congress is aimed at researchers, early career researchers/scientists and experts from the fields of engineering, agricultural and environmental sciences and related practical fields. The congress offers a platform for professional exchange, discussion of research approaches and networking within the scientific community.
Abstracts can be submitted until 28 February 2026. Notification of acceptance will be sent by 31 March 2026, and speakers must complete their registration by 30 April 2026 in order to be included in the scientific programme.
Those with an interest in science are invited to submit papers and participate in the professional exchange at the CIGR-EurAgEng World Congress 2026.
