The 83rd International Conference on Agricultural Engineering LAND.TECHNIK will take place in Dresden from 10 to 11 November 2026. The conference provides an international forum for scientific exchange and professional dialogue on current technological developments, trends and future innovations in agricultural engineering.
LAND.TECHNIK brings together experts from academia, industry, and applied research. In addition to extensive networking opportunities, participants gain in-depth insights into emerging technologies and market-relevant advancements shaping modern agricultural systems.

More than 60 professional presentations will address recent developments and technological innovations in the agricultural sector. The conference program covers the following areas:

Call for Papers
The Call for Papers is open until 12 April 2026. Experts from all related disciplines are invited to actively contribute to the conference program. Early-career researchers and young engineers are particularly encouraged to submit their work.
Submissions must consist of an abstract in English including:
- The title of the paper
- Author details
- A concise and meaningful summary of the content
- An assignment to a specific presentation topic

Accepted papers presented during the conference will be offered the option to enter a scientific review process leading to the publication of a full-length paper in the peer-reviewed journal agricultural engineering.eu.
Participation fees
The standard conference fee is €1,350.
Reduced fees apply as follows:
- €1300 for members of the Association of Engineers (VDI) and the European Society of Agricultural Engineering (EurAgEng)
- €675 for VDI or EurAgEnd members who are also members of universities
- €350 for doctoral candidates who are VDI members
All participants receive a 10% discount on accommodation at the Maritim Hotel Dresden. The “VDI Events” app provides access to the full conference programme, real-time updates, networking tools, and essential organisational information.
