European Charter for Researchers and Code of Conduct for the Recruitment of Researchers

As a member of the Leibniz Association, ATB is committed to the 'European Charter for Researchers' and the 'Code of Conduct for the Recruitment of Researchers'.

The European Charter for Researchers and the Code of Conduct for the Recruitment of Researchers adopted by the European Commission are key elements of a strategy with which the European Union aims to make science an attractive career field and thus a driver of growth.

Both the Charter and the Code are addressed to researchers as well as to employers and funding agencies in the public and private sectors.

The principles of the Charter and the Code are fundamental when applying for EU research projects.

In May 2015, the Leibniz Association submitted its declaration of support for the European Charter for Researchers and the Code of Conduct for the Recruitment of Researchers to the European Commission following a decision by the Presidential Board. The declaration, signed by the President of the Leibniz Association Prof. Dr. Matthias Kleiner, is available on the EURAXESS-Portal.
