ATB is hosting the PhD-Day once more on 19 March 2026, which is a great chance for doctoral researchers to converse with others regarding their thesis and obtain valuable ideas for their own.
This event is part of the regular series of events held at ATB called ‘PhD Days’, which support doctoral researchers in their careers in the world of science and business and, of course, give them the opportunity to exchange ideas with their peers.
On the day of the event, doctoral researchers from various research areas will present their work and offer all participants an overview of current developments in their field. Alumni of the ATB will also be present on side, providing an opportunity for discussion and exchange. Whether you are a presenter or a member of the audience at PhD Day at the ATB, all participants will have the opportunity to expand their horizons.
We look forward to strengthening our network with our colleagues from the Joint Lab AI & DS in Osnabrück, as this year's PhD Day will take place in conjunction with their retreat in Potsdam.
Once again, we are fortunate enough to welcome external guests and attend their presentations:
- Prof. Romano Mwirichia Kachiuru (Department of Biological Sciences, University of Embu, Kenya) – Keynote
- Prof. Dr. Masahiro Ryo (Professor of Environmental Data Science at the Brandenburg University of Technology, Leibniz Centre for Agricultural Landscape Research (ZALF)) – Keynote
- Dr. habil. Jan Mumme (Alumnus of ATB, Independent Consultant for Biochar & Biogas, Entrepreneur and Startup Coach) - Discussion
The agenda and abstracts of the presentations by doctoral researchers can be found in the programme.
Participation in the ATB PhD Day is, of course, free of charge!
