Nov 17 - 18, 2025: Digital Agroecology Cluster Conference

The Digital Agroecology Cluster Conference ist the final meeting Digital Agroecology Cluster and will be held from November 17 to 18, 2025 in L42, Rue de la Loi 42, 1040 Brussels and online. The conference will convene eight EU-funded projects that are jointly examining how digitalisation and innovation can contribute to sustainable farming practices, including agroecology, organic farming, and agroforestry. By bringing together researchers, policymakers, advisors, farmers, and innovators, the event will serve as a forum for dialogue on how digital technologies can effectively support the agroecological transition in Europe.

The event will focus on what the barriers and enabling conditions for the uptake of digital technologies in sustainable farming by gathering a wide range of views of industry experts. You can expect the results and policy recommendations from policymakers to advisors, farmers and researchers. Practical application of technologies such as robotics, drones and sensor technologies will be presented and their trade-offs and cost-effectiveness analysed. This will be further expanded with a presentation on Cluster projects` developed resources, such as databases and platforms.

Besides technology and policy perspectives, the conference will place particular emphasis on the social dimension of digitalisation. Farmers and advisors testing digital solutions in practice are sharing their experiences from living labs and multi-actor platforms, offering valuable insight and demonstrating opportunities as well as challenges associated with the uptake of digital tools in agroecology.

Besides a co-creation session at the end of the event, there will be plenty of networking opportunities and dedicated sessions for individual project dissemination. Contribute to engaging panel discussion and discover valuable synergies and insights.
