DairyMix assessed the sustainability and circularity of integrated dairy farming systems in Europe and Argentina, combining farmlevel data collection, bio-economic modelling and multi-criteria assessment. The project investigated environmental, economic and social sustainability and crop-forestry-livestock integration, and developed new digital technologies for the monitoring of barn climate and emissions. The project results were implemented on a long-lasting online platform for decision support and stakeholder interaction.
The Final Workshop presents the key scientific outcomes and discusses future research perspectives on agroecological pathways for more resilient and low-emission dairy farming systems.
