Whether crisp apples or juicy pears - if you want to know how to get the best out of your orchard or plantation, the Stone Fruit Day and Harvest Festival at the fruit-growing research centre in Müncheberg is the right place for you.
Practical demonstrations, exhibitions and talks will cover everything from the right choice of variety, planting and training pruning, clever irrigation strategies and natural plant protection to the optimal storage of pome fruit.
The ATB team will also be there this year to present our research on sunburn in fruit. We will present how various sensors are used to measure plant data in the field and show how this data can help us to improve the climate resilience of fruit trees. Come along and discover how science is helping us to meet the challenges of climate change.
