Summary
In many bulk processes of industry and agriculture unfavorably designed appliances and discharge devices cause problems such as segregation, bridging, over or under drying, and thus to deterioration and increased costs.
The aim of the project is to develop and test a novel discharge facility, which allows to adjust the mass flow density in the apparatus to the bulk material and the process flow. It will even out the process flow and increase product quality and energy efficiency.
