The ATB has made gender equality a central concern. It aims to particularly increase the proportion of women in management positions continuously and rapidly.
ATB supports male and female employees with family responsibilities equally by various offers and instruments that allow a balance between work and family.
As a Leibniz institute, ATB sees itself obliged to the equality objectives of the Leibniz Association and is supported in its own efforts by the various instruments offered by the association.
ATB's equality concept 2016-2019 (in German) describes aims and measures for applying the research-oriented standards on gender equality.
