Current projects in the research program

Infrastructure project AgroBAT

Funds from the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF) are currently being used to expand and intensify the research infrastructure in the field of Precision Agriculture at ATB.

The aim of the project AgroBAT is the development and scientific investigation of smart sensor techniques for the determination of soil fertility as well as for the evaluation of the state of the plants. In this context, a test facility for continuous, intensive data collection of soil and plant parameters is set up. This will then provide the database and the models that will allow the development of intelligent systems for the processing of sensor data (using artificial intelligence algorithms).

AgroBAT strengthens the research in the field of Precision Agriculture and complements already existing research infrastructure at the ATB (ERDF-funded measures).
