Analytical chemistry
In the laboratories are analysis systems for identification of ingredients of agricultural goods

  • pH-value, conductivity, dry mass, organic dry mass 
  • NH4+ and Kjehldahl nitrogen 
  • TOC, CSB, BSB5, organic acid, sugar, starch 
  • Raw proteins, raw lipids, raw fibres, raw celluloses 
  • Total-N, -C, -S, -H, -P and further elements 
  • Anions and cations 


Biogeochemistry

Biobased products

In a pilot plant and the connected fermentation technics the team works on constructions for propagation, fermentation and purification of microbial cultures. 


Microbiology
In microbiological laboratories aerobic and anaerobic organisms can be isolated, cultured and stored. A pilot plant station is available for the wet preservation of feed.


Molecular biology

The molecular biology laboratory provides modern molecular tools for detection, typing and quantification of microorganisms.

Environmental biotechnology

In the biogas lab equipment is available for fermentation of agricultural raw materials and residues.
