Friends and Supporters of the ATB

Friends of the ATB is a development association founded July 7th, 2002, on the occasion of the 10-year-anniversary of the reconstitution of the "Institute for Agricultural Engineering Bornim".

The association according to its statutes aims at 
- the support and promotion of the Leibniz Institute for Agricultural Engineering Potsdam-Bornim e.V.
- supporting the institute's purpose to promote science and research in the field of 
  agricultural engineering and 
- to increase the social benefits in general by communicating scientific knowledge and 
  results to the interested public. 

These objectives shall be accomplished by the acquisition of donations and other financial funds that allow the VFF-ATB to support research activities beneath its common areas of  research. 
Besides that, young scientists will profit from the association through scholarships or awards. The association is of non-profit character and aims at benefit to the public.

Member fee currently is 20 € annually.

Donations over 100 € will be appreciated and rewarded with a beautiful print of the historical Royal Estate Office House. If you are willing to donate 500 € be prepared to receive a valuable illustrated book on the beautiful architecture of Ludwig Persius in Potsdam and the surrounding area.

This association was founded in 2002 when the 22 founding members confirmed their membership. Five members constitute the board of the association with Dr. Joachim Venus as Head of the Board. 
Since August 19, 2002 the association VFF ATB is enlisted in the register of societies at the District Council in Potsdam. The registration number is VR 2275 P.
