producers today by trade, consumer and public sectors are large delivery
quantities, optimum quality, low prices and environmentally compatible
production. A closer look at developments reveals that there is still
great potential for research and development, especially in the fields of
postharvest treatment of fruit and vegetables.

together in the department on the closly linked sectors of humankind,
