Planet"
The project brings together several partners of
Leibniz-Gemeinschaft (PIK, IAMO, ATB, IGZ) to assess the
impact of global bio-energy expansion on economic
development, climate and biodiversity: Is bioenergy an
option for future energy supply or not? What are the
consequences of a worldwide increasing production? In
times of climate change and increasing energy costs as
well as growing energy demand these questions are of
enormous importance for politics, technology development
and earth system sciences.
